Having earned his master's degree from Temple University, JD has shared his valuable experience and knowledge as an acting instructor, and he prides himself on his unique teaching style.
JD was the original Stan Laurel of Universal Studios' Laurel and Hardy comedy duo. He also worked "streetmosphere" roles at Church Street Station for more than ten years before finding a home at Sleuths Mystery Dinner Shows.
It goes without saying that JD has a special place in his heart for drama and theater overall, but his favorite theatrical genre is (naturally) mystery. JD is also an avid fan of early American History. His two primary passions merged brilliantly in his widely praised contributions to Orlando Fringe 2016. JD's play, "Thomas Jefferson: My Master, My Slave, My Friend" was named the festival's best drama, and Orlando actor Jim Braswell received top male performer honors for his role as a slave in the performance. JD portrayed Thomas Jefferson in the play, which was directed by Sleuths' very own Laurel Clark.
JD is proud to be affiliated with Sleuths Mystery Dinner Shows. He believes that Sleuths is "unique" because of the variety in the mysteries, and the loyalty of the "repeat offenders" (returning guests). Compared to other dinner theater locations, JD appreciates that the food quality is good at Sleuths, and performances run 365 days per year.
Catch JD in action, at least two nights per week here at Sleuths Mystery Dinner Shows!
